1. Roles
You determine the purpose and means of processing personal data in your hosted applications. Where we process that data on your documented instructions, the relevant controller and processor roles must be recorded in a data processing agreement. We separately control account and business contact information described in our Privacy policy.
2. Arrange an agreement
Before uploading personal data that requires a processing agreement, contact admin@zetixio.net. Provide the data types, categories of people, processing purpose, retention needs and relevant jurisdictions. This information page is not an executed data processing agreement.
3. Required details
The agreement should cover documented instructions, confidentiality, security responsibilities, approved subprocessors, incident notification, assistance with individual rights, audit information and return or deletion at termination. Request the relevant provider and location information before ordering.
4. US hosting and transfers
Our advertised machines are hosted in the United States. International transfers may require additional safeguards depending on applicable law. Agree any required contractual safeguards before a restricted transfer occurs.
5. Customer safeguards
Use encryption where appropriate, restrict access, maintain application security and set retention rules. Keep independent backups and avoid uploading sensitive or regulated data until you have confirmed that the service and agreement meet your requirements.
